Eugen is a Lead Telco Network / IT / Cloud Architect and Practice leader for Cloud Advise, Build, and Move services in IBM Slovakia Customer Innovation Center. He is responsible for defining architectures, bringing new innovative solutions, and working on innovative customer projects especially in area of Network and IT transformation related to digitization, virtualization, cloudification, orchestration, and automation of telecom platforms / networks. Eugen’s work covers topics such as SDN, NFV, MANO, Network Slicing, 5G and Open RAN, Open Networking / Standards, Edge Computing, IoT, Hybrid and Multi Clouds solutions, Digital Transformation, Cognitive Operation, and Networking Automation.
He also contributes to further development of IBM advanced solutions and supports innovative customer projects around globe in IBM Telco Global Center of Competence acting as SDN /NFV /5G architect. Eugen holds more than 20 years of experiences in design, architecture, development and technology innovations for several leading telecom operators across 5 continents and cooperation with various NFV vendors.
Before joining IBM Eugen was Head of Technology Strategy and Architecture in Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile CZ.
