Pål Wien Espen is Director-General in Nkom. The Director-General decides all matters that are not to be submitted to a superior authority.
Pål Wien Espen has a law degree from the University of Oslo and has a basic degree in public administration from Lillehammer University College. Espen comes from the position of legal director in the security company Verisure. He has experience with the law firm Wikborg Rein and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
Pål was employed by Telenor in the period from 1995 to 2016. From 2000, he had the role of Executive Vice President responsible for the group’s legal staff and the group staff within compliance, privacy, regulatory, and security. Early in his career, he was an assistant lawyer in BAHR and an assistant judge in Nedre Romerike district court.
