Giampaolo has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and telco industries. As CTO of Network Infrastructures at Nokia, today Giampaolo is responsible for thought leadership and business development in Europe with a particular focus on security and innovative technologies, including quantum-safe networks, fiber sensing, AI, and non-terrestrial networks.
He started his career in the aerospace industry as a pioneer of LEO Satellite Constellations, where he designed the payload of the Globalstar satellites. Then he moved to the telco Industry in Siemens and later to Nokia, contributing to the launch of 3G, 4G, and 5G networks in Europe.
Mr. Panariello got a doctor’s degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a master’s in business administration.
Giampaolo has participated in more than 40 conferences and roundtables and has published in specialized magazines.
