Jack Hamande has built a diverse career in international business management, starting at Buena Vista International (Disney) and later at AT&T and Verizon Business (WorldCom). His roles involved strategy, regulation, and business development, leading to his position as Manager of Sales & Marketing at Cisco in 2007, where he focused on emerging technologies.
In 2009, he transitioned to the Belgian public sector as Director General for Personnel and Organization Development, initiating programs to enhance governance, ethics, diversity, and performance across the federal public service. In September 2013, he became Chairman of the Council at the Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications in Belgium.
Jack has held various board positions at the Universal Postal Union (UPU), BEREC, and ERGP and served as head of delegation to the ITU. In 2021, he joined the Belgian Federal Public Service BOSA as Director General of the Simplification and Digital Transformation Division, overseeing the delivery of digital services to millions of citizens.
