Caspar de Jonge has been working at the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (and its predecessors) since 1998 in various positions with the common thread ‘acceleration and innovation’.
Since 2011 he has been responsible for investments in a range of projects and programmes in the areas of Smart Mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems that promote digitisation and increased intelligence in Mobility, Traffic and Transport on the basis of public-private collaboration and co-investments. In addition to technology, this also expressly involves organisational and collaboration systems, sustainable earning models, interoperability and social benefit.
