Maurizio is the President of the Institute P.I.I.U. – a nonprofit organization specializing in Innovation Management with the mission of creating value and facilitating linkage between academia and industry, specifically focusing on the Technology Innovation domain.
Mr. Cecchi is also a Steering Board Member of the Public Private Partnership for Future Internet Evaluator of the European Commission and R&D Calls Steering Board Member of the 5G Public Private Partnership. He also coordinates several EU-funded projects, such as XIFI, 5G EVE, and 5G SOLUTIONS.
Maurizio’s previous duties include working on strategic planning of Telecom Italia International R&D activities, being a TIM representative for R&D in the European Telecom Network Association, and more.
