Prior to that, he has held such positions as Head and Deputy Head of the LIAA Representative Office in the United Kingdom, Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Affairs in Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and more.
Renis has a broad background in energy management and investment. His current responsibilities include investment, innovation and financial instruments.
He is enthusiastic about smart specialization implementation via ecosystems while exploiting 5G advantages.
