Sebastian Babiarz is a co-founder, board member, and for the last two years, co-president of the Global UTM Association. He’s also a VP of Business Development at Dronehub, where he identifies and evaluates new opportunities throughout Europe for the drone-in-a-box solution.
Additionally, Sebastian advises and collaborates with European regulators and standard organizations to build regional regulatory frameworks to enable safe and scalable drone operations.
With over 16 years of business experience in the drone and telecom industry, Sebastian is passionate about new technology and automation and how they can improve lives. For the last four years, Sebastian has been heading Strategic Business Development at AirMap and has successfully built the AirMap business across the EMEA region.
Prior AirMap, he was focusing on driving innovation within the mobile telecom industry through drones and their role in a connected society and within IoT solutions. Sebastian has also held various positions in mobile network R&D for Nokia, Ericsson, and Alcatel-Lucent.
